Cubicle Icon in Trouble
All writers and authors know that part of the job these days means becoming your own marketing department as publishers and agents strongly encourage you to create an online presence to promote your work and hopefully create a vibrant fan base. It makes sense, and can be fun. But it appears cubicle icon Scott Adams crossed the line when he anonymously posted on Metafilter under the name PlannedChaos and not only pretended to be a huge fan of his famed Dilbert comic strip, but also exposed himself as being just as human as the characters in his material. Talk about life imitating art, and vice versa. Yikes.
