Cubicle Conundrum: Being Moved

There are a lot of things that make people who work in cubicles angry, but perhaps the most dispiriting is being moved. It's difficult for grown men and women to be told to pack up their desks because the company is moving them to another cubicle. Not only is it disruptive, but it makes employees feel powerless and confirms their sense of being under the thumb of soulless corporate mood swings. It just sucks. And to make matters worse, some people are moved while they're away on vacation. That's just cold.
