Cubicle Mental Health: Emotional Claustrophobia

It's inevitable. Some people call it lack of privacy. Others cabin fever. Or the caged animal syndrome. But the physical layout of cubicle farms put an incredible emotional strain on cube dwellers. Despite all of the ways we try to protect our sense of freedom and individuality while at work, the best way to give yourself some space is to get outside. Find an excuse to get some fresh air throughout the day. Go to the bank. Eat your lunch somewhere other than your cubicle. Call a friend and walk around the parking lot. It's good for your soul.
