Cubicle Criminal Justice: Food Thieves

It's crazy to think that after the interview process any competent company would hire someone who steals food from coworkers. I mean, really? Who does this? The answer is lots of people. In fact, there seems to be at least one food thief for every office refrigerator. And nothing makes people feel their privacy has been violated more than when they realize someone has partaken of or completely stolen their lunch. People who steal food from others are taking a huge risks -- both professionally and personally. It's reason enough to fire someone, but being caught could also result in a mob mentality among coworkers who seek revenge and a sense of justice. Food thieves are boorish at best and emotionally disturbed at worst. It's just weird behavior.
