Politically Correct Cubicle Decorations

The holiday season is stressful for many reasons, especially in the workplace. That stress can include how to decorate your cubicle according to your personal tastes and sensibilities but without drawing unwanted and perhaps even negative attention. Sometimes it's simply sad how easily people are offended, but it's a reality we all have to live with. This time of year can be tricky because so many cubicle dwellers celebrate Christmas and Hanukkah, and yet our workplaces are filled with people of different faiths and spiritual beliefs. It can be difficult celebrating your own beliefs while not annoying and angering people who believe something different happens to them when they die. Some nondenominational holiday cubicle decoration suggestions: snowflakes, colorful lights, sleighs, snowmen, Santa, elves, and wintry scenes.

Here is an interesting dialogue on how an atheist should decorate their cubicle during the holiday season.

Do you work with someone who is too easily offended?
