It's a big problem in the cubicle farm: unannounced guests. Those coworkers and bosses who sneak up on you as if they're trying to photograph a grizzly bear. Perhaps to get a glimpse of what you're really working on, or sometimes they're just clueless. Either way, a cubicle doorbell offers them a clear channel of communication, and and excuses to linger around your cubicle.
Honestly, I'm not sure if I'd ever use one of these -- I just can't imagine someone ringing the door bell and tucking in their shirt or checking their cell phone as if I'm a few minutes away -- but the concept is sound. Where can you purchase one of these? Why, at
