Cube Rule: No Fingernail Clipping

No. Never. Not under any circumstances should you ever clip your nails -- fingernails or toenails (it happens!) -- in your cubicle. That distinct snipping sound causes others to cringe, gag, and lose their concentration. You may think your coworkers don't hear you, but they do. So stop it. Clip your nails at  home. If you think you don't have the time, make it. Get organized. And don't use the company scissors to clip your nails in a pinch. The shreds of your keratin shoot off in all directions, leaving your fingernails with serrated edges that can gut fish. Gross.
