Cubicle Creep: The Office Lamprey
From Chapter Seven of The Cubicle Survival Guide:
Every office has an odd-looking employee who swims around the cubicle community, latches onto unsuspecting colleagues, and sucks their patience dry before moving on to the next cubicle. This individual is known as the office lamprey. An actual lamprey is an aggressive parasite that resembles an eel but employs a round, razor-sharp-tooth-filled mouth that flares out and fastens onto a host fish. An anticoagulant in the lamprey's saliva allows it to siphon the life out of its prey for hours or weeks or until the host dies.
