Deadbeat Cubicle Dwellers

Much like in your neighborhood, your cubicle property value is directly related to how well your neighbors keep up their cubicles. No one wants to spend eight or ten hours a day sitting next to a deadbeat cubicle dweller who doesn't do a thing to bring even an iota of personality of creativity to their workspace. You don't have to go overboard, actually you shouldn't, but it is important to have a plant or family photo on your desk to let others know that you are indeed a human being with emotions and thoughts and not a beaten down drone who has given up on being themselves at work.
